What this data does and doesn't show
- Every figure is as Croydon printed it, in accounts that have not yet been audited. Counts in the £100,000 figure are our sum of the council's bands.
- Comparisons are with the other London boroughs read so far; no national figure is published for England.
- Croydon publishes members' allowances as monthly lists ('Members Allowances Scheme - Additional Information', April 2025 to March 2026) without an annual total; these were not summed here. The March 2026 list shows a monthly 'Members Allowance Contractual Non Pen' of 1,030.58 per councillor; the annual basic allowance was not confirmed from a council document in the time available (a local news report gives £11,984 for 2025-26, not used).
