What this data does and doesn't show
- Every figure is as Tower Hamlets printed it, in accounts that have not yet been audited. Counts in the £100,000 figure are our sum of the council's bands.
- Comparisons are with the other London boroughs read so far; no national figure is published for England.
- The Council report 'Member Allowances Scheme for 2025/26' (26 February 2025) read here refers to 'the Basic Member Allowance from £11,898' and the IRP-recommended £15,960 but the extracted text does not state the adopted 2025/26 amount (press reports give £12,792, not used). No annual allowances-paid publication was located in the time available.
