UK petrol averaged 155.3p a litre in June 2026, of which 78.8p was tax (51%) and 40.3p was crude oil. The price fell from 158.7p in the week to 1 June 2026 to 151.0p in the week to 29 June 2026.

Brent averaged $86 a barrel over the month and the pound bought $1.335. Fuel duty was 52.95p a litre throughout. The refining and retail margin averaged 36.1p.
